BIOSUPERFOOD FORMULA(S) RECEIVES LICENSE FROM HEALTH CANADA!

On April 18, 2007, all three formulas of BioSuperfood were awarded individual Natural Product Number (NPN) from the Health Products and Food Branch of Health Canada. This office of the ministry of health accorded the right to use the following claim for each formula:

"A source of antioxidants for maintenance of good health"

BioNutrition Canada spent two years and thousands of dollars supporting the agency's elaborate application process. Each formula had to be treated as a separate application each with its individual ingredient and nutrient analysis, each with its detail analysis for purity (free of pollutants and improper level of heavy metals or other toxicity) and each with its manufacturing process proof of quality.

The research and references supporting the product claims and constituent nutrients were supplied to the agency. The differentiation between the three formulas were presented and demonstrated. The licenses are as follows:

The licensing of natural product and dietary supplement is being implemented for all natural products in Canada and will become law, as it most likely will be in the USA. It is already in place in certain countries of Europe, and in Australia. Dr. Kiriac has seen this coming a few years ago and had begun the application process.

This certification ensures that BioSuperfood is a safe product, free of toxicity, that it contains what it claims to contain, and that it will remain available as a natural product in the years to come.

The algae in our formulas are nurtured and harvested in a hydroponic pure environment, protected from pollutants, free of herbicides and pesticides, and blended, encapsulated and bottled under strict quality control.
